Glòria holds a degree in Stage Direction and Dramaturgy (Institut del Teatre) and a master’s degree in Theatre Studies (UAB, IT, UPF). She furthered her training through seminars on dramaturgy, acting, and stage creation with several leading contemporary artists, including Jan Lauwers, Anne Bogart, Claudio Tolcachir, Javier Daulte, José Sanchis Sinisterra, and Yves Lebeau, among others.

She teaches staging, dramaturgy and acting at the Institut del Teatre. She also gives classes in stage direction at the Sala Beckett workshop and has served as assistant director for numerous productions.

She has been a member of the editorial board of Sala Beckett’s magazine (Pausa.) Quadern de teatre contemporani since 2007.

As a stage director, she has worked on more than twenty shows, including Anatomia d’un suïcidi (2025), Tot el que passarà a partir d’ara (2023), Els ossos de Montaigne (2022), Decadència, Les cadires (2016),  El setè cel (2014), Boys don’t cry (2012), La marca preferida de las hermanas Clausman (2019), Elèctrics (2009), Reflections, a contemporary music concert (2008); Àlea Arborea, a concert staged by Anna Bofill (2007), L’ham (2007), Pulsió  (2005) and Hamletmachine (2004).

As a playwright, she has written and directed Desencant, presented at the Teatre Lliure and Sitges Teatre Internacional (2004), Elecktra, at the Teatre Estudi (2003), and M. Bovary, at the Teatre Artenbrut (2002), a text published in the journal Escena (no. 13). She has also written and directed works focusing on female figures such as Clara Campoamor, Mary Wollstonecraft, and Simone de Beauvoir.

In 2024, she received the Sierra de Oro Critics’ Award for Performing Arts for the show Tot el que passarà a partir d’ara, and in 2020, she received the Premios Ciutat de Barcelona grant from Barcelona City Council for the project Els ossos de Montaigne.
