Elisenda Puig earned a diploma in Music Education from the Autonomous University of Barcelona (UAB) in 2000 and a degree in Educational Psychology from the same university (2003). She studied music at the Liceu Conservatory, where she earned an intermediate piano diploma.

She has worked at the Escola de Música Municipal de Parets and the Music Classroom at the Centre Moral i Cultural del Poblenou as a teacher of musical awareness, musical language, choir and piano. Since 2003, she has been a music teacher at state primary schools, and since 2019, she has combined teaching music with her work as the role of educational secretary at the Escola Alexandre Galí in Barcelona.

She is also the co-author of Editorial Cruïlla’s music textbooks for the fifth and sixth years of primary school.

For more than ten years, she has been a member of the UAB’s Education Sciences Institute for Contemporary and Modern World Music, and she is one of the “Els compositors entren a l’aula” project educators.
