Philharmonic Ensemble
Program
The Philharmonic Ensemble is a chamber music group founded by Shkëlzen Doli, violinist with the Vienna Philharmonic. It faithfully reflects the unmistakeable style and incomparable sound of the Vienna Philharmonic in a small format.
Since it was founded, the group, consisting exclusively of members of the Vienna Philharmonic, has enjoyed great success, thanks to the prestige of its name, the excellence of its playing and its extensive repertoire. Nevertheless, the public’s favourite programmes are undoubtedly those that include the waltzes and polkas by the Strauss family, which have earned worldwide acclaim thanks to the New Year’s Concert from the Vienna Philharmonic.
