L’Auditori Apropa reflects L’Auditori's commitment to bringing music to all members of society, especially the most fragile and vulnerable groups.

In the 2006-2007 season a social and educational concert programme was launched aimed at groups at risk of social exclusion, making tickets for most of the regular programme at L'Auditori available for 3 euros. Two years later it was extended to social groups and the world of healthcare, making a wide range of shows available at specially reduced prices.

Since the 2010-2011 season, L’Auditori has invited other organisations in Barcelona to take part in the project. The APROPA CULTURA, programme was thus created, offering music, theatre, dance and circus, with the support of Teatre Nacional de Catalunya, Mercat de les Flors and Teatre Lliure. The project has continued to grow and today 40 venues in different parts of Catalonia are involved in Apropa Cultura, offering 2% of their tickets to these groups. Apropa Cultura also organises musical training as part of Educa amb l’Art, a course in performing art and music aimed at social educators.

Social clubs and day centres for the elderly and civic centres
Centres and associations which sign up for the L'Auditori Apropa programme qualify for special prices and promotions to attend concerts at L'Auditori. A wide range of concerts in our regular programme are included in the scheme to encourage enjoyment of live music.

First person musical experience

L’Auditori Apropa promotes musical activities in which specific groups can participate, enabling them to develop social and intellectual skills while they enjoy an entertaining leisure experience. Currently we are working on three such activities:

Un matí d’orquestra, Et toca a tu and Toc cap a tu.
