Program

Humet contrasts the intricacy and refinement of nine songs for soprano and piano with ten ‎instrumental ‎interludes mediatius (meditative interludes) conceived as spaces ‎for release, and creates a primal and primitive counterbalance to the density and ‎expressiveness of the series of songs. The premiere incorporates the commission of a ‎choreography created by Virginie Mécène, performed by the outstanding PeiJu Chien-Pott, a ‎soloist with the Martha Graham Dance Company. A magnificent ensemble will perform the ‎score: soprano Sarah Maria Sun, pianist Alberto Rosado, shakuhachi maestro Kakizakai Kaoru ‎and Neopercusión.
