Just 32 years old, this restless visionary has backed headline musicians across a range of genres, established a name for himself on the New York music scene and released three solo albums full of poetry and spirituality. Praised by no less a figure than Sonny Rollins, in his début at the festival he unveils his new, highly ambitious album, Days of Freeman, influenced by 90s hip-hop and demonstrating that you can even rap with a sax.
