The Auditori, one of the last modern cultural spaces built in Barcelona, with over 42,500 m2. It is more than a singular architectural space with avant garde equipment and intended to reply effectively to the organisation needs of congresses, conventions, product presentations, advertising, exhibitions, filming, parades, gala dinners and private concerts; it also has many singular outdoor areas for filming commercials, presentations or any other event that requires large outdoor areas.
It is in the centre of the new urban development of plaça de les Glòries, which connects the three largest avenues of the city (Diagonal, Gran Via and Meridiana) near the old quarter of the city, its ‘Eixample’, next to the National Theatre, the Glòries junction, the opening of the Diagonal on to the sea, district 22 and the Forum 2004 and has many modern, singular outdoor areas for presentations, filming commercials and open air activities that require modern lines, luminosity and space.
