Program
First performed in 2013 at the Eclat Festival in Stuttgart, Inszenierte Nacht (Staged Night), composed by visionary Danish composer Simon Steen-Andersen, is a musical and theatrical reinterpretation of various classical works dealing with the theme of “night”. Steen-Andersen reinvents works by Bach, Schumann, Mozart, Chopin and Ravel from a contemporary viewpoint, resulting in a spectacle which cannot be categorised. Brought to us by Ensemble Ascolta, this unmissable event is part of the programme of cooperation between Sampler Sèries and the Ultima Festival in Oslo.
